No Umbrella Media LLC, an HD Video Services Company in Portland, Maine, has three internship openings for the 2012 Summer semesters.
Our interns practice real skills, working on real projects and they have the support of our staff of video and media professionals… here in our tiny office with no windows in downtown Portland, Maine.

No Umbrella Media provided a great environment for me to apply my video production skills learned in the classroom to real-world challenges in the field. Working with clients, conceptualizing ideas for projects, and having a hands-on approach in their completion from start to finish all made for an engaging and exciting experience in creating meaningful work.
Here are brief descriptions of the three internships
>A video intern will work mainly on editing projects, but will also have the opportunity to work in the field.
>A marketing/communications intern will assist with internet marketing (social media), public relations and other miscellaneous tasks required in production of the inaugural Maine Outdoor Film Festival in late summer 2012.
>A journalism/writing intern will assist in production of the 2012 No Umbrella Monster Print Publication.
Specific tasks will be dependent on the successful candidates’ skill sets and ambitions. These are unpaid internships offered with the intent of satisfying college credit. Some of our past interns still work for the company in a sub-contractor role.
