WWF Presents: ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF FARMED SEAWEED

Short Doc Film

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is a global nonprofit committed to developing and promoting practices that conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth, with a mission to build a future where people and nature thrive together.

Using voices of scientists (wildlife or fishery biologists and water/weather experts, to summarize data supporting habitat-creation and de-acidification studies), community stakeholders (to explain the positive fit in the local community and community benefits) and farmers themselves (to speak about their observations and practices in the water), this short doc shows how coastal Maine aquaculture contributes in a meaningful way to regenerating coastal habitats and combating climate change, all the while continuing to edify itself as a growing, economically viable industry.

L.L.Bean presents ONE WEEK AT A TIME

Short Doc Film

Over more than three decades, four friends kayaked a complete circumnavigation of the New England coast – from Maine, to the Canadian Maritimes, to New York City. 3200 miles. 32 years. 4 friends. One incredible adventure. In 2018, L.L. Bean hired us to honor and commemorate this remarkable sustained accomplishment of these four men with this documentary video, who all share some connection to the company. This was a fantastic experience working with Lincoln from L.L. Bean’s video team; and, indeed, a lifelong pleasure to visit for hours with Mike, Tom, Ben and Charlie and their families.
