We are making a monster.

No Umbrella Media is proud to offer the opportunity of publication in our forthcoming reader for outdoor freaks: The 2010 No Umbrella Monster.

This creature will showcase work inspired by a love for the outdoors: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, photography, art, recipes, whatnot.

We would be honored to consider your expressions and ideas for our collection.

Some things to consider before you submit your work:

• Am I the owner of this work and free to submit it and legally claim it as my own?
• Is the piece coherent?
• And, is it honest?

That about covers it the esoteric stuff: If you can answer yes to those three, we will consider publishing your work.
Some other points on editing, license, etc.
-we reserve the right to edit written work for length, clarity of message, libel concerns, vulgarity and reader experience.
-we reserve the right to publish your piece in print and online.
-you retain the rights to your piece, though if it is republished we ask that that reproduction include “first published in The 2010 No Umbrella Monster”
-Please submit photography and 2-Dimensional artwork in 300 resolution JPEG format.
